Addicted to Suffering.

Do we not find ourselves craving old heart aches? They are comfortable. It is amazing how comforting misery can be when you’ve been tied up with it for a while. Like any other habit, it must be quit, shifted, let go of. But what to replace it with, what candy can I suckle while I kick my bad habit?

I don’t know. Joy, I suppose. Meditation helps in that search. I am struggling to shift my mind. I am struggling to let go of all the struggles I insist on carrying around. I encourage you to do the same. A broken heart goes stale quickly, and I am tired of feasting on the mould.
